curlytoes79 being a Tree Hugging Organized Money Manager
...without realizing it. I’ve been visiting the cafe on the ground floor of my office almost daily, getting mixed veggies and/or fresh fruit for lunch. It’s costing me an arm and a leg to buy lunch every day, but hey, gotta spend money on something. Why not my health?

Alison_NorCal is sweating to death in 102 degree weather and smoke.
I want to eat fresh everyday. I need to take advantage of the wonderful farmers market in my area. I know that eating better would make me feel better in so many ways.

This goal has been pretty simple for me. After watching the super size me film and one of oprahs shows with dr oz about food. Its pretty much changed my perpective on what I eat. After reading articles online and watching videos on youtube. I’ve realized that I should care more about my health regardlees of how young that I am. Plus after awhile I started becoming anal about what ingredients are actually in the food that I eat. Wondering what are all these word that I cant pronounce, chemical this and chemical that, addatives, high salt, hight fat, preservatives, and who knows what else that my food contained. Realizing that my food shouldn’t come from a lab it should be grown. Now that I pay for my own food I frequent whole foods and traders joes weekly. Because it’s convient. I’m about 99% or so organic. Only eating regular food when I eat my meals from work twice a week. Since I’ve made this change. I havent really noticed any changes eating organic. But regardless it makes me feel better knowing that I’m not putting garbage into my body.

Clover sprouts instead of lettuce will give you more nutients and lots of flavor. (sweetest when turns yellow) Alphapha sprouts are great too. Just one little step toward better health and less weight..

feeling gross. I’ve had 3 diet cokes in 2 days… and I feel “tainted”. Blech. That’ll learn me to stay away from that poison.
Back to water…

I have been eating more whole foods, especially fruits, nuts and seeds for several months now. I feel much healthier and like a much more humane being. Eating more a more fruitarian diet has been a positive change for this vegetarian of 10 years, but I don’t think I could go all the way down the frutarian road. If only I could give up my Gruyere cheese and the milk I still take in my black tea, I would be an honest vegan. If you have any suggestions. . .
