Get a Dell Laptop computer

I bought a dell inspiron 6400 and customized it to a gaming laptop.
Very good no problems and is very reliable. I have had a few windows issues that i have asked dell to help me with and the Customer Support is the best i have ever seen! first you can EASILY contact them by email or phone. If you send an email they extensively try and resolve the issue. THEY EVEN FOLLOW EVERY PROBLEM UP WITH A PHONE CALL. I am very pleased with my dell!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE from basic to advanced computing needs!

I’ve had my Dell Inspiron for almost 2 years and I’m always having problems with it. I’ve had it serviced a few times. I’ve had the CD drive replaced twice and the hard drive replaced once. I lost everything on my old hardrive.

This doesnt go for all of Dells laptops, maybe just for the Inspiron 6000. But I’m just one isolated case…

I bought my Inspiron a year and a half ago, and am completely in love with it. I haven’t had it crash, it’s drive hasn’t died, no blue screens of death…it’s been good to me! It’s a tad heavy though, 7 lbs I think? But it came with a sexy bag to carry it around in, and it goes everywhere with me when I think I need it. So far it’s had enough ports to plug all my junk in at the same time too. hugs my laptop

I love it, it’s like a child to me!
Since I’m a college student, I bought this for being small and lightweight because I don’t want to lug around something heavy and big. It has great features and everyone gives me props for having the “coolest laptop” !

I finally got my Dell Inspiron thru customs here in Perú. It was delivered to me in my site last week. I am still amazed that I could order a computer from the Internet and have it delivered here to my site. Even mail doesn’t get delivered here.

Having worked at Microsoft for 10 years and as a systems mgr for another smaller company before that, I have been “intimate” with hundreds of computers. A good portion of them have been Dell machines. I have never seen a hardware failure on a Dell machine. Not once. *

Compaq / HP are crap and I have had LOTS of problems with those two brands.

Yeah it’s really good to gey laptop computer

My husband bought me a Dell laptop last fall so I could have it for my deployment to Iraq. The hard drive died less than 24 hours after I took it out of the box (I was still at home at the time). Dell was very uncooperative in terms of getting a replacement right away, even when I explained I was leaving very shortly for Iraq. One customer service rep canceled the shipment of the replacement drive and set it to be shipped to the wrong address. I wasted a huge amount of time dealing with the very unhelpful CSRs at its call centers.

When I finally got the replacement drive, it did not come preloaded with software, as had been promised. That set off another round of calls; finally Dell shipped system recovery disks, even though I requested disks for specific software since I had already reloaded some of the software and didn’t want to wipe the drive and start over. I also had to make arrangements to ship the original defective drive back or else I would have been charged for the replacement, even though by then I was at an Army base, training to go to Iraq and didn’t really have the means or time to set up a pickup with Airborne Express, which Dell claimed was its only shipping service.

Usually, when I told companies I was getting ready to go to Iraq for a year, their employees would bend over backwards to help me out. I felt like Dell was bending over backwards to be as UNhelpful as possible.

I really doubt I will ever buy from Dell again.

My dell inspiron is virtually indestructable. its plain cover is excellent for customizing with stickers. My laptop has been on ESPN almost as many times as I have…(i wonder if anyone other than me saw it?)
