Watch Grave of the Fireflies

This was an amazing movie – I watched it with my brothers and think I may have even seen them holding back a few tears – I know I couldn’t hold mine in!
You rarely see the impact of the war from the other side, and this really made an impact.

It is a little overrated. It’s worth seeing though for anyone who doubts the power an animated movie can have.

What a beautiful movie!

This is an awesome movie. The first time I saw it, I cried at the end. It really pulled at my heartstrings. I reccomend this immensly.

I had no idea the extent of US saturation bombing done in Japan. This film really shows you had bad it was. Very grim and very sad. It really makes you happy to be alive though, and also helps put some trivial complaints in check. Make sure you are in a strong emotional state when you see it though,

some sadness is good for the soul sometimes

Watch it with someone you love or you will want to die afterwards. Seriously.
