I’ve made a habit of watching one of these most nights in bed before sleep recently so I’ve whizzed through the end of this season in the past couple of weeks. Still love it!
Season 2 completed

Season 2 complete…I’m realising now that I’ve seen some of these on TV, but still, it’s amusing a second time round and I haven’t seen all of them so I’ll watch them all regardless.
An acquired taste

Through the coincidence of me sitting down to eat my breakfast at about 9 in the morning I have got into the habit of lazily half-watching Frasier on Channel 4 during the week. I never thought I’d like it before because I used to see it a few years ago when I was flicking channels, I’d catch a few seconds of a show and see is a couple of stuffy men in suits talking pompously. It gets funnier when you learn the regular jokes (Niles is a weakling, Martin can’t relate to their hobbies, Roz has a lot of boyfriends…etc). It also took me a while to appreciate the style of humour because it seems different to anything else I’ve seen, some of the jokes are so subtle they could be missed. Anyway I’ve grown to love it and I make a point of sitting down to watch it properly.
At the mo I’m part way through season 10 on Channel 4 and I’m near the end of Season 1 watching it on the computer. One of the great things about it is that even though I am watching Season 1 I can’t think of any jokes that have been lost over time despite these episodes being 14 (!!) years old now.
