stay a virgin until marriage

im 23 years old but im still a virgin.. Staying virgin until marriage is one of my promise to God, i hope i can keep this one until i got married.. because for me it is sacred, and it is not a sin when you do it after you’ve blessed by God.. I had a boyfriend now for 3 months, and I told him that i don’t want our relationship be strong by sex.. and because im saving it for the person whom I want to marry.. and he understand it and respect my decision, actually he’s proud of me because of that.. :) And my beliefs in having sex outside marriage is not Love.. its a Lust! when a man respects you and control he’s urge he definitly love you.. i had many friends who engaged to sex in a wrong time and after that the guy just left them, and they just want girls to have sex with them and if they refuse to it, they will get mad and sometimes hurting the girls.. it’s so ironic coz some girls would allow the guys do that to them because of their love for their guys… I hope we virgins can handle that situation.. just stay strong and under control.. goodluck! I’m really thinking about waiting until marriage but its easier to make a decision like this right now since i’m not dating. i am happy to still be a virgin but sometime i feel like i cant tell anyone because they’ll judge me. I honestly don’t see why it would be a bad thing to wait till i’m married but at the same time i would be the only one in my family who would make such a big decision since all my sisters have chosen to do it with their first boyfriend, wich i completly respect. I realise now what a big mistake it would have been to have sex during my teenage years since i had such low self esteem. Everyday i become a stronger woman and i am proud of that. Hopefully i will find a man who love me as much as i love him and who will respect my decision.

I’ve been dating the most amazing guy ever for the past 3 months and several times, I’ve been tempted to throw away this goal. But at the very beginning of our relationship, I discussed with him that I didn’t want sex in our relationship because I wanted to wait till I was married. He completely understood (despite the fact that we have different views) and he respects my decision. He said he was willing to wait for me which was a relief because I didn’t want our relationship to go down in pieces due to my morals. :)

i’m not going to lie, i’m not a very strong Christian. but staying a virgin until marriage means so much to me. i feel like if i can complete this goal, i can achieve anything in life. i want to save my virginity for the man i’m going to spend the rest of my life with. it’ll only make our relationship that much stronger. :)

I don’t know your religious beliefs but for those of us waiting until marriage this is so appropriate and hilarious. Now be warned the beginning is funny but please wait for the Rapture joke at about a minute into it. It’s the best part…

I wont compromise on this one. Ive waited this long and Im not going to throw it all away. Sex outside of marriage has painful and dangerous consequences…...but inside marriage it is one of Gods most sacred gifts. Im excited for it.
