have so much extra stuff that could make me a bit of money, I seem to be getting the same buzz out of saving money then I was spending it :) which is weird. I am working to put some money aside for a rainy day and hopefully I will be able to go on a nice holiday at the end of the year. I am also working on using some of my stuff up that I have not had the chance to use yet. 1 month ago

as the money I have coming in is now a lot less but I need to have a bit aside for when I may need it. I am looking to spend nothing on non essential items and just pay my bills and pay for what is essential. 1 month ago

So I found a site that basically taught me that I’m allowed to have an allowance each month but I can’t go over that allowance. Basically saying hey you earned it, why can’t you have something! And I agree! But of course you have to make sure everything else is taken care of as well. You can’t just be like hey I’m going to blow my entire paycheck on a tv, screw paying the electric and rent….

So… I’ve been putting a little money from each paycheck in my savings account, I found it on a site called the paycheck challenge, anyway, I’m actually doing it. I had a little set back though because times get hard you know how that is. Well I’m getting back on track again and I even talked to Joe about taking what he has in his savings and putting it all together in a new account to earn more interest! :) I need to get it set up though :)

and for those who are truly all about saving money, I have found an AMAZING site that helps teach you how to do it. It’s where I’ve been getting my ideas from lately and so far it has been working for me!

In order to spend the same amount of money I have decided to make more…
I have rented out a room of my house, I have decided this cash will be living on it money and then my salary can be used for bills and savings.

I really hate going to work. I’m thankful to have a job but I don’t like being there. Every time I’m about to spend money I think about how much longer I’ll have to work if I spend it. It’s an effective deterrent. 10 months ago

It’s not helping that I’m moving to a more expensive apartment. I didn’t want to but I couldn’t take the heat in my studio anymore. I work 40 hours a week to pay for it but I can’t even enjoy it when I’m home because it’s too dang hot. 10 months ago

Really fell down on this goal last paycheck. Tightening belt and trying again. Things will be very tight this time. There is absolutely no room to waste any money. What set me off last time? Boredom. It’s killer on my bank account. 12 months ago
