catch a fish

I finally bought a spinning reel & rod! I’m getting pretty good at casting and caught a sculpin got a pic and then released it. I was hoping to catch a salmon, but all I got was too much sun ~ the rim of my hat kept catching in the wind and flipping up!

I don’t know about the “conqured” part—as always I am horrible at fishing—but hell, I caught some.

I won’t brag, I only caught four perch, the longest 5”, but I was happy. The first one I caught, it was really lax since that lake’s water is warm, and when my Dad and Uncle Matt snapped the picture (maybe I’ll get a picture for it later, haha) it jerked suddenly to life and I screamed and dropped the line!

But yes, Montana ius a really beautiful place, and if you love fishing, I definitely suggest going there. I had a ton of fun myself! But I won’t blab on and on. Thanks for the support!

Fishing IS a lot of fun, I think I’ll try my hand at it more in the future.

Well, apparently the fish weren’t biting. I’ll try again another time.

I’m going fishing on Wednesday so it might happen!

... in just a few days, to visit my dad for a week. He loves hunting and gaming, so I imagine we’ll be doing quite a lot of that. Since I’m going to be out in the wilderness with all of these animals, well, I might as well win a little too! And how?

By catching a fish!

I never have, though we’ve fished a thousand times. It would really just make me feel better. I don’t know why, haha. Maybe if I’m lucky, I can even catch two! I really hope I can.

Another day of fishing and still no fish.

really, its cheaper to go to the grocery store and buy one already (whatever they do) done and ready for eating..or grilling or whatever you want to do to cook it. My dad never took me fishing ,so I dont need him to do so right? Well, I will let you know when I catch one.

We went fishing for the first time this year. DH caught a fish within 5 minutes. I almost caught several, but none made it out of the water. I did catch some alge.

I picked up our fishing liscenses last week. Now I just need to drag DH and DS outside to where the fish are.

I caught a fish. Last weekend, a rainbow trout in the upper Kern River.

Now I can no longer say, “I have never caught a fish!”
