My hair is currently down to my waist, it’s the longest it’s ever been, I have dyed it so many colours before but now it is growing out and is mainly my natural red colour. I’d love to oneday have hair down to my thighs, but that’d take years! Right now I’m trying to care for it as best I can, it’s all I can do for now really…
When I was really young my hair was about as long (proportionally) as it is now. Then when I was nine I cut it off and kept it short up until a few years. I’m pretty happy with it now and I’m just going to let it keep growing.
but I cut it short because of blue hair dye that didn’t come out! Now I’ve got a red colour I like, with henna so it’s not damaged, partway down my back. I like myself a lot better with long. When I was young I always wanted to have hair long enough to sit on, but I kept growing taller so I never reached the goal! I also wanted red hair instead of my natural blonde…so hopefully I’ll someday have hair long enough to sit on, and have it red to boot!
Ive had long hair all my life really..when i was younger my mom never used to let me cut it..when i was about 13 i rebelled against her and got basically a bob.lol
But yeeahh i regrette that and set about growing it again.
Now 17 its about..just above my bellybutton?
or something like that.

I think it was great to have very long hair. But it was hard for me to maintain. Mainly because I’m lazy.
It usually got tangled, my split ends had split ends.
But it was cool.
ah my short hair bugs me! my hair is 5 inches long and iv tryed everything to make it grow faster but it wont i swear i can’t find anything that is not something that has to do with money pills or treatments. if anyone has a sujestion that will make it faster growns email me penguin_tedybear_4_ever@hotmail.comthat photo i even had longer hair ahh i need longer hair!!
really long hair…
but its not with out its own pain and life
1.) you have to put up with people asking if you’re going to donate it to cancer patients. i mean the wigs last what a month maybe 3, and then they throw it away. what a waste in my opinion. and why should we be upset about a child that survived cancer? why are we ashamed of that accomplishment?
2.) random people coming up to you, and like touching you. i mean like grabbing a handful of your hair and exclaiming right there next to you over it. its very weird after a point. and you’ll take to wearing it up as a matter of course in public.
3.) maintenance can get to be a pain though. regular trims and excessive brushing, and don’t let me get started on the washing and cleaning. but let me tell you, there is no more divine a feeling than when you brush your hair out following from a show after you let yourself go a while. i mean your scalp tingles.
David Cohen working 12 hour days...but that's not a complaint...
Even though I’m a guy, it’s great having long hair. I am native and the elders appreciate it too! It also reminds others about who I am without me having to ever say anything. At an age when many guys are balding, I am braiding!
