I took my daughter to her second cousins birthday party, it was at one of those wine and paint places… Of course no wine as it was a kid party. Thing is I got to paint because there were extra spaces and you know what happened? I feel the fuck in love with an old flame… I forgot how good she feels – paint on a canvas. I forgot how seductive she is – making something appear! It was a simple space scene with BAD brushes and cheap paint, but it made me so happy to go and not look back! I was like, “Hell, I have cheap crap at home! I’m doing it!”
