So I Decided To Pursue a Friendship 3 years ago

because it doesn’t seem flirty now. :)

Okay- Coffee #2 3 years ago

So I went and the prof/friend had the place to meet wrong but 1/2 and hr. later we ran into eachother. There was no flirt! In fact I think I sounded GROUCHY like making SURE there was no flirt. He said his girlfriend’s leaving town at the end of summer and they don’t plan to do the long distance love. I found myself encouraging long distance love because a) this is a hard town to meet your #1 in and 2) I didn’t want him to be available and MAYBE turn on that flirt again in my direction. maybe my grouch attitude put him off that idea anyway. I’m not proud of my grouch but I now feel he’d be an okay guy FRIEND. He still didn’t talk about the class stuff when I tried to bring up some topics again. They slid off like humanities on teflon. Still, I invited him and his girlfriend to join me, my guy, and my friends at the lake next month. Maybe eveyone can make more friends?

My guy friend was my professor last semester. I invited him to coffee and instead of us talking about the class (which I really enjoyed, and was why I invited him to coffee) he started asking me about my intimate life. I’m not available, and I soon learned he’s not available either, but he mentioned cheating was starting to seem cool to him! Yikes! Not my thing! I want to have coffee one more time to see if I can steer back to the class topics – if I can’t, then I guess he’s not going to be a friend for me. Maybe he’s just a sleeze?
