How I did it: Went to the October 2008 London expo and dressed up as Urahara ksiuke from bleach, got a company online called pipethree to make the bulk of the costume, and the rest, sandals, hat, cane, etc i found online. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Lotsa hard work! The latest cosplay I did was Namine, from Kingdom Hearts. The very first thing you have to do is get a TON of reference pictures of your character. Ideally you want pictures from every angle so you can see every aspect of the outfit. For Namine, we got screencaps from Kingdom Hearts II cutscenes. Then we got a pattern for a dress similar to hers, made it out of white canvas material, and then… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Brought my cosplay while on holiday in Japan and wear it constantly! I also made a cospaly of Princess Serenity (of the moon kingdom) from my mums wedding dress. ^-^ Read how I did it…

So far, I have bought the accessories! The headband, sweater, tights, and glasses. Better yet, a good friend of mine from high school is going to let me borrow the game, so yay!
And I cut my hair for bangs… turned out pretty well, I think. :)
I now have an account with cosplay(dot)com … Mainly to get some ideas, and to ask some questions, and to finally get this done (nods).
I guess achieving this goal will be great fun … I just need to lose some weight beforehand :(. Hmm! Ah well. I will definitely try to do something, even if it’s “only” make-up … (nods again)

Ever since my first convention in middle school, I’ve always wanted to cosplay. Well, a real cosplay that is flattering and accurate, anyways.
This goal connects with other goals I have… such as going to Fanime this year (I missed it 2 years in a row), and to get my license so I can drive there as well as go to the fabric store, etc.
My goal is to cosplay as Yukiko Amagi from Persona 4 (a video game that I have yet to play… maybe this cosplay will motivate me, haha), so yay.
katiethehedgehog is planning Yuna costume
Ok so Halloween night i cosplayed as Sailor Jupiter and went to a Anime con that night! It was my first cosplay and I will gives some hints. Work. Don’t stop if you think its too hard nothings too hard when you set your mind to it and get help. My grandmother sewed everything and for that i am thankful.
Did a rushed ok version of Shana from Jem at DragonCon this year. Enjoyed being in something other than just my wigs, but I have to admit that I wish more people wanted pictures of my outfit. :)
Thinking up new ideas for next year that will hopefully be executed.
Ameji is Christmas shopping!
I cosplayed at Dragon Con for the first time ever this past weekend. It was AMAZING!! I was Poison Ivy and my friend Dana was Harley Quinn. It was so much fun, and I can’t wait to do it again. My costume took a month to put together and it turned out great. I got a lot of compliments. :) I am excited trying to plan what I want to do next. Definitely do this!!!!
Well, hopefully, i can tick this as done soon, as in October i should be going to expo thingy, and cosplaying Urahara Kisuke from bleach, i’m nervous about it but hopefully it should be alot of fun.
I’ve always wanted to Cosplay ever since my first Anime (Sailor Moon) n_n
But as ‘PennyLane407’ said it’s quite difficult to find a character to match my looks. Being half-caste theres hardly any ‘black’ Anime/Manga characters I can think of..(except ‘Katara’ out of the Avatar and thats Chinese)
Plus; I only have a few friends that enjoy Anime/Manga and lives near me and I don’t know any conventions close to where I live. (Oxfordshire, UK)
Any suggestions on where to buy decent costumes as well?
Cosplayed once before but it was half-assed and I didn’t do the costume – it was for a friend and now I really wanna try it for myself.
Hopefully gonna cosplay next month. woo!
