nes311~2008-Obama-YES WE DID! Very proud to be an American
My brother gave me a piece of the wall, but I lost it. =( It was covered in paint-much like the picture below.
How I did it: It was a gift from my employer's son whom went to Germany with his family when the wall came down. I was (nominally) important in the life of a child. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well I dont actually have it yet, but my great-uncle does. he fought in WWII, and every time I would visit him I'd be so fascinated with the chunk of cement that he said after he died, I would get it. Read how I did it…

My then friend V was traveling in Berlin when the wall came down, so she brought me back a chunk.
ncsnobunny is getting geared up for my super fab birthday extravaganza!
My best friend is from East Berlin and she brought me a piece one time. I haven’t ever actually been to Berlin yet but it’s on my 43 places and I won’t have to pay for accomodations :) That goes back to the host a foreign exchange student goal…
I have a piece of the Berlin wall that I bought. There is very little of the wall still intact which is left as a memorial. Please don’t take a piece from what is still standing. If everyone did that it wouldn’t be there – duh! You can still find plenty of places selling pieces from what was originally torn down.
