to the ability to try…
The expansion of The Denver And South Park railroad…
a huge endeavor…and pictures do not do it justice.
I have stood at the foot of this massive and unfinished rock wall
I felt like a small dust speck.
It is huge.
Never finished because the railroad folded…
Leaving the history seekers to explore the possibilities…

Great Wall
Even though this Palisade was never completed, it still is an amazing structure and represents the end of an era for the Denver South Park and Pacific Railroad who dreamed of building a railway over Ohio Pass down to the North Fork of the Gunnison River and on to California.
This Palisade was built by Italian Stone Masons brought over specifically for this job from Italy as masons from this country were not capable of doing the work. This Palisade is almost impossible to see from the Ohio Pass Road even though it is close to the road.
An interpretive sign has been placed at this site.

to succeed may cause a person to take risks in their emotional life
that may cause some pain when one wipes out…
The thrill of adrenaline and the agony of thats the way the cookie crumbles all wrapped together in one nice meal with some leftovers for the next day, week and month…

Apparently Zumba is very popular here. The workshop that I signed up for this Saturday to become an instructor is completely sold out. Two of my girlfriends who are incredible dancers (especially latin which this is) want to start classes right away. They tried signing up but the sold out thing is hampering that. I’m willing to sell my registration to one of them, but the other needs one too. They won’t have another workshop here this year.
I am waiting to see how this unfolds. I say we all go on Saturday and hope others cancel!

I read big pile of business and marketing books and try to get the ideas from the books and apply to use it in my business.
After moving for a week, I sat observing my customers, mostly vocational students. I look and observe what they like and notice their comsuming behaviors.
The location is near the school. The question is “how can I attact them to come to my shop?” There are 2 other copy shops but only my internet shop in this area.
Teenagers. They like music, like to sit and chat. So yesterday, I went to Tesco to buy more beverages and crispy snacks. I full the fridge and shelves with them. I play music loud enough that they can hear while sitting at the marble chairs that I prepare for them.
In the books, they said that in any shops with a lot of customers in the shop seemed to attract more customers than the shops that have few. So, I make my shop to look busy all the time to make other customers think what we have or service inside.

Schools are closing for 2 months so works are not flowing in as in the past two months.
The guy who wanted to rent my first shop cancelled his plan. So, I have to find the new buyer. I put up the advertisment sign again this morning and hope that I can get new buyer soon. However, we still want to move to our new place after the redoing is done.
Though, we are feeling a little bit depressed with the first shop, we still keep our hope high that someone will be interested to rent it or buy the location.
