did that, miss that sometimes, but it’s time to get a real education and make better money.

Can I do it? 3 years ago

    Trying to change career.
I already work in engineering and have qualification in electrical and electronic engineering.

Passed my 16th edition last year.

Seems that my apprenticeship is the wrong type and I will need to do another one?? Installations required.

Trying to gain experience on my days off from work, but this is slow.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Till then I’ll keep trying.

A great trade to have 4 years ago

I got my Journeyman’s Certification over 15 years ago, and it has served me well. I took my apprenticeship in Alberta, where it’s a four year course. I found the third year the hardest and the most interesting, as that’s where you are doing a lot of 3 phase motor circuits, controls etc. There is a real need for the trades again, at least in Alberta. The pay has never been better.
