I used to ride occassionly, but I haven’t been in ages. I love to ride and need to get it back into my life

Horseback Riding More Often 3 years ago

I have several hundred reasons for this. First of all… being involved with animals is always a worthy thing to do. Horses are great to have in your life. The partnership & trust you can build with a large animal like this is joyous, and a constant reminder of life’s miracles. Horseback riding is the most joyous when you start a relationship with one particular horse… you can learn their quirks & they can learn yours. You will have much fun taking them out for their baths & a graze, and all the time you spend with this horse will provide you with years of happy memories & laughter… as well as light up your chosen Equine’s life. Taking care of horses can banish depression & build self confidence.

Another reason I have is: it is hard work & great excersize all while being completely enjoyable! Even more reasons? The people are amazing. Love of anything brings people together… My God Mother runs a barn at the EQ Center in Burbank, and the Barn Parties are always positive & filled with interesting people from all walks of life. In the end… horses & being involved with horses is life enriching.

And on a personal note… I like riding down at the EQ to be around my God Mother & being able to help her around the place… because I think she is an amazing & wonderful individual. Filled with knowledge & kindness. I want to keep giving back for all that she has given me: involving & guiding me at a young age with these beautiful animals.

Went for my birthday earlier this year. It did not go well. It wasn’t terrible, but my horse was difficult and the trail riders were kind of rude. But I’m not giving up yet.
