Bought the dress about a month ago, and completed the first of 18 ruffles! This is definitely going to take the majority of the next 13 months to complete!

Found a $40 ivory maxi dress online – I just need to bite the bullet and buy it, and then I can get started! Only have 14 months to get it done! =)

My dress is now done, and it’s beautiful! It fits like a dream. It is strapless and has a vintage 1950s look. I used ivory dupioni silk with a dark red sash. The experience of making my dress with my mother is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
