I turn 27 in January so I have a little over 3 years to work on these goals. What a challenge! 2 years ago
So, I’m turning 29 in two month’s time, and 30 suddenly doesn’t seem too far off. I’ve still got lots of things I want to achieve before I reach the big 3-0 – writing goals, family goals, fitness goals, learning goals and so on – so here I am, starting another list. While I’m going to start working on some of the goals straight away, I’ll give myself till the end of the year to edit and finalise the list. 2 years ago
I just checked, and I’ve already accidentally done two of the items on my list since I wrote it. “Own a piano” (got it unsolicited from my cousin) and “get a massage” (B-day present from Brother #2).
If only the rest of my items would be this easy! 2 years ago

I have 10 months before I turn 30. It’s time to make my list.
Right now I have:
1. Reach my goal weight = DONE
2. Hike Half Dome in Yosemite = to be done in June
3. Be happy with my life in the moment = sort of done
4. Figure out my finances
5. Make a budget and begin the process of learning to follow it!
more to be decided…. I need to look at everyone’s lists! 3 years ago
is kind of hard! I have a draft already on my Lists of Bests but the stuff after #22 is kind of iffy. I’d like to add an accomplishment relating to making a positive impact on the environment, but I’m not sure what an interesting, quantifiable goal on that front would be. 3 years ago
I was thinking about doing the “101 things in 1001 days” challenge, which would put me almost to my 30th birthday. But I decided to do this instead – it’ll allow me to focus on fewer, larger projects. Which is probably a good idea since soon I’ll have my hands full with Baby!
Now I just have to figure out what goes on this list. I’ll probably take some things from my Things to do before I die list. 3 years ago
I have now worked under my own employ, only to discover I don’t like it much.
But I tried it, and I know how it feels, and I may revisit it when my children are old enough to understand that just ‘cause mama’s at her dest at HOME, doesn’t mean she’s not working. 4 years ago
