start a magazine

Well I know that I want to do a asian magazine and kinda know what I want to put in the magazine now I just 1 more person to help me do this and to get started I just need some help with this and someone who want to make a differance in the asains in Engalnd

Okay, so far I have a name, the content, approximate print costs, a target market, the design ability, half a plan for distribution.

What do I need next?
Advertising to cover costs & put a little bit of money in my pocket. Of course I’d do it if I broke even just for the thrill of having my mag out there.
I know who I need to advertise in my magazine, I just need to figure out how to get them to agree to be in my publication.

I’ve just bought the domain name for the online magazine, now on to choosing a template and starting the design process. I already have a blog so i hope to mo get readers from there to check it out first.
I’m so excited and cant wait to accomplish this.

I believe self esteem is very important. People with low self esteem tend to do anything to be accepted. We run into guys that are not good for us because we need the love. We attach ourselves with friends that only want to harm us and we have babies even when we are not ready for them just because we need the love. Their are so many reason’s people have low self esteem. Maybe it could be something that happened in the past like sexual abuse, mental and physical abuse, It may even be the fact that we want to accomplish certain things and can’t. Self esteem can make a person commit homicide, suicide or abuse. We need to control this epidemic because that’s exactly what it is turning into.

I’m starting a magazine as we speak and more importantly, I’m building a platform that allows others to start their own magazine.

I’d love to begin a magazine catering to small business women that focus on fashion, crafts, and other things that people need assistance on but dont know how.

came up with concept

I’ve been a single mother since my daughter was 15 months old. Her dad was cheating on me with a married pregnant woman. I’ve always gotten parenting magazines, and they always center around a “normal family”, you know; mom, dad, in-laws and all that happy horse shit. I don’t have that anymore, never really did. I get offended by it, there are soo many of us that have never had that and will never have a family life like that. We deal with step parents (not anymore in my case, they are getting divorced, HA HA HA-VINDICATION!) anyway. I think that there needs to be a magazine that caters to single parents, well mostly single mothers cause I’m not a man, I know they have their own unique issues but I don’t live it and wouldn’t know what to do. I would call it “Just Us” and every month it would have a picture of her mom and kids on the cover and her story. It would have advice about money, dating,sex, dealing with the x-asshole and issues that I wish I could have some advice on. But, I found that it takes about $15,000 to get a first issue published, I don’t have $15,000 and I there’s no way to tell if it will be a hit or just another stupid idea/failure that I have. Oh well, what r u gonna do?

So Im in the army and being here working boring endless hours sitting around in a tent doing nothing has got me thinking a lot
And I thought about lack of magazines for a certain military group which I dont want to share yet
But I have got great ideas for it
I just dont know where to start
Where to get reference to guide me
And I need to what skills I need to have/learn.
