It takes time to get things right. Time is money. Therefore this could be an expensive adventure. lolobell3 is correct, expect the unexpected- old things tend to break when you begin to dismantle them. Anything can happen, and anything that can’t be fixed must be found or fabricated taking precious time AND money. This is the adventure.

I work for an automobile restorer of high-end (veeeery high-end) classic cars. It is a great place to work, really interesting and never ever a dull moment. But if you’ve set your mind to go down this road, here are a few tidbits of advice to keep in mind:
1) expect the unexpected,
2) cultivate patience, and
3) go with the flow.
Murphy’s law applies here – disasters happen every day, and they are the FUN part of restoring a car. You’ll see…..
