answer my cell phone when it rings

I made it to the end of August! I missed it a few times, but overall, I answered my cell phone almost every time it rang (and a lot of times when I didn’t want to). Sooo, I’m considering this goal accomplished!

So no one’s really been calling, but I guess that makes this goal a lot easier… or maybe it’s just making my life sadder, haha.

In any case, I only haven’t answered once so far, and that’s because I was walking to a work meeting and couldn’t answer. I guess I’m doing pretty well so far, but it’s hard to remember to do sometimes (or I’ll remember at the last minute and have to scramble to pick up my phone in time).

Ok, so this is kind of a weird thing to have a goal about (maybe?), but I really have a hard time answering my phone. It’s not that I’m usually busy when it rings, it’s that I’d so much rather either talk to people in person or online. I hate talking on the phone because you have to devote your full attention to it, and yet it’s still so impersonal. Being able to talk to people on the phone is pretty important, though, so it’s really something I need to overcome. If I can answer every phone call (unless I’m legitimately busy) until the end of August, I’ll consider this goal accomplished! :)

Definently need to start on this one. I am constantly missing phone calls because either I cant find my phone or I make up an excuse that it doesnt ring. Like Danielle, i’m not much of a phone person, I HATE the phone. I pretty much just carry my razr for emergency purposes. My husband is the chatter box. Ohwell. I will keep you posted on wether or not I achieve this goal! :-)

i think ive been doing this as much as possible lately and ive gotten over it all.

so much ive finally talked to this boy whos crazily winning my heart..haha golly.

this is worth doing though. ive accomplished a lot more communication when doing this haha

i ANSWERED EVERY PHONE CALL :D even at work. boo yah!

im going to try this. whenever i am avail to answer my phone, im going to answer.

this is day one. if i can make it til february first, i will officially be okay with answering my phone.

the whole thing of it all is…im just not a phone talker, i mean im HUGE people person, but talking on the phone just isnt appealing to me. I wish it were, but it is not :(

for every phone call i refuse to answer, i have to add another three days to my deadline goal :)

but on a lighter note towards this goal I have been answering all unknown numbers, and most have been work related, and one was an invite to go out with some friends back in town, except for im still down here. sadnessss :( :( but i get to see them all tonight! :D

i didnt answer my cell phone today when i was supposed to show up to work.

and i ended up getting fired. shrug i still got the good job. i make about half what i make at the job i got fired at, and i work 50 x harder at sbux and yet get treated 50 x shittier. fuck. i dont need that job anyways.
