It actually works like that, in most cases- I work three nights a week where I basically sit, play with the concession, talk to my coworkers and other people (who are all freaking awesome) and then I watch the movie! I was actually surprised the first time I got a paycheck, I forgot it was a job!

I found a job, at an ice cream store.
It does feel like a job..
but I enjoy it for the most part so I’m crossing this off of my list.

Things have progressed to being business partners with the very successful family. Only time will tell what my potential is and how far I will go. I am so empowered with their input and will continue to work with them while always working for myself.

i just had dinner with the family, and they are all great. The kids are terribly adorable, and I am going to have fun nurturing their social and language skills especially with the 4 year old. Exciting!

You spend so much of your time at work. You might as well love what you do if you can manage it. I love what I do as a masseuse. I get to help people reduce their pain and stress. I stop and wonder, wow, I get paid to do this! Sweet!
Totally helps if you’re actually good enough at what you enjoy doing to pull off making a living by doing it, but I’d totally encourage anyone who thinks they could do it to give it a try.
Once you have you’ll never want to waste your time working in another crappy, soul-destroying job again.

but I wont jump the gun just yet. It is in language immersion, so basically I will be talking in other languages to a family in Alaska.
How dope is that?!
