(John Locke)
I admit that I am disappointed with the showing of the Scottish Green Party in the Scottish Parliament results from yesterday’s election. Apparently however they look good to improve their representation on local councils in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
I admit to having become a bit focussed on the need to do something to mitigate climate change since the Stern review came out last autumn and the more recent IPCC reports. I admit that I thought that any rational person would see it the same way and vote for a party dedicated to taking on the issue. Clearly I was wrong.

My father had very conservative views, and it took a while before I stopped feeling ashamed of my own left wingishness.
After studying the different political ideologies I can now honestly say that my views are most like the ones of “new liberalism”, but I have yet to find out why and how I support this.

My first step is to actively learn more about the different ideologies.

I don’t think of myself as a socialist but hearing this on the news this morning really got my blood boiling:
Executive salaries rise 17 times faster than average wages

More relevent as you get older and the manifesto’s affect what you’re doing or want to do. I voted in the last election for UKIP (as did my mum).
