Its time to move and things are coming together. The next month or so will be rough, but I hope it all works out well. Hello San Antonio!

How I did it: My two best friends from the military are from the San Antonio area and one kept telling me how wonderful San Antonio was and how I should try living here. I got a call out of the blue one day from her offering me a great deal on rent if I could make it to San Antonio in three days. I got my stuff together and brought only what I could fit in to my old '94 Camry. It was spur of the moment and very scary to do in some ways, but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Lessons & tips: There are great resources on the web to help you find a place to live, work, etc. Research, research, research.
