I was just wondering if i culd get a job at woolworths and i would work the cash register’s if that is ok with you guy’s? Thank-you 16 months ago
How I did it: Because I am already working, I only was looking at jobs that were better than the one I already had. Using my company's job postings, I saw a job that paid more and that I was qualified for and went ahead and filled out the application, tailoring my experience to the qualifications listed in the job posting. I also modified and updated my Resume as well. I also keep a copy of each job I applied for as well as a copy of my application so I can review prior to an interview or for further editing on other job applications. I got my confirmation that my application was accepted. Now I have to wait to see if I get an interview. 19 months ago
I filled out my application online and had to modify a few things since the skill set needed was a little different from the last position I had been applying for. I also updated my resume to not be so technology heavy and reflect more managerial roles. I finished and submitted it! 19 months ago
Every couple of months I look at job openings where I work. I also look at Monster and CareerBuilder websites to see what companies are hiring. There is a manager position which is available now that I should be able to qualify for so I will submit an application.
After going so long without a pay raise, I really wouldn’t mind some extra money. 19 months ago
