I had in mind an idea for a musical similar to Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge!, that being a musical using familiar pop songs, not original ones. I know it’s a cop-out, but I had a great playlist of songs and I thought they’d make a fun story!
So I have my story/plot, the songs, the characters, and the setting all worked out. Now I just have to get down to writing the script, and I’m having trouble.
