Well, I missed Leancamp and generally wasn’t in London recently so, er, too bad. I had the pleasure of “sort of” working with David recently as I did the French localization for Basecamp. Hopefully we’ll find some opportunity to grab a beer later this year. 3 years ago

After the first Building of Basecamp workshop in Chicago, we walked a few blocks to the 37signals neighborhood bar (the name escapes me). They serve Blue Moon with a slice of orange. Jason Fried sat at one table, David sat at another. I sat at David’s table because I figured it would be a rarer opportunity to share a beer with David (though I’d buy Jason a beer given the opportunity). Go Rails!!! 8 years ago

And both times DHH was coming down with a flu. Too bad that everytime he’s visited Seattle he’s caught a bug on the flight over. No matter his physical state, it’s fun to drink with DHH. The conversation is always inspired. 8 years ago
