dance in the middle of the street

My friend and I were bored and it was dark, but we wanted to go outside. I don’t remember who started dancing first but soon we were both twirling all over the street. Luckily for us there aren’t that many cars that time of night :)

On a whim, a male friend and I decided to fly to Washington DC to see the annual Christian music festival held there over fall break. One afternoon, we found ourselves standing in the middle fo the street listening to a band we’d never heard. To entertain ourselves, we started swing dancing. I don’t think I’ve ever had that many people stare at me at once. It was the most romantic thing I’ve ever done… too bad we weren’t dating.
