find out if my house is haunted

im trying to figure out if my mom’s house is haunted! we have been hearing strange noise’s and my daughter has been speaking to her self and has been saying things to me but i cant understand her because she is only two.

even though no one smokes in my home. It’s an older home, not sure how old, which was extensively remodelled by the former family. However, the person who purchased it (our landlord) did do some more remodelling after the purchase. I know the father of the family passed while a resident here, not sure if it was IN the home. The mother passed away only a few months ago, less than a year after the husband passed away. I know the son of the couple and he has toured the home and said there it was very different from how his mother left it when she moved out. The master bedroom stays much cooler than the rest of the home. I often smell cigeratte smoke aroud the house, but my husband and I don’t smoke. I don’t know if the former couple smoked, but I know the son does. The only other thing I could think would be my father who passed away nearly 10 yrs ago, who was a chain smoker. My mother has seen and heard him around her home for some time after he passed. They recently moved a second time after his death. Any ideas?? I have a toddler, he has acted strange on a few occasions, but not really scared. my mother has said for years her family were “sensitive” to paranormal activity, which I have experienced personally. I don’t want to upset any family members that might be here, but I would like to know.

me and my nephew were sitting in my bed room and he start screaming and crying. i asked him what was scaring him so badly. he pointed directly behind me. so i calmed him down and i moved over by my closet. thinking maybe if it was just were i was standing. not even two seconds later he started screaming and crying again. i asked him once more what was scaring him. he pointed directly behind me. this time i asked what was behind me. he had this terrifing look on his face and said a teddy bear. me being an adult figured what can a teddy bear do . so i said ” hunny you dont have to be scared of a teddy bear!” he looked at me with this really scary look on his face and said ” no nana he has a hammer!” so this really freaked me out. i asked him is he trying to hurt you. he shook his head no at me. so then again i go well then you don’t have to be afraid then. and once again he looked at me with that scary face and said ” nana he isnt trying to hurt me, he wants to hurt you.”

so my tv will turn itself on after i turn it off. and again and again. this usually happens a couple times a week.

About 6 Months ago i was sitting in the living room and i heard a little girls voice saying mommy come play with me. I thought that it was my daughter so i told her to go in the room. i heard it again. i got up and walked around the coach to see my daughter and no one was there. i asked my mom if my daughter was with her and she said yes. i asked her for how long she said about 30 mins. later that same night i was in the living room and heard my moms bedroom door close. I got up to see about it and my mom and daughter was fast asleep. I need to find out if my house is haunted. Please help!

We want to find out if our house is haunted or what has happened in it. We moved in about a year ago and we feel like we are being watched. We have also seen certain images around.

how can I find out if my house is haunted or the background of it.
Meaning what happened in it.

About a year ago my mother was in the bath and she had the door locked and she wouldn’t let me in so i could go to the bathroom. So she told me to go downstairs and so i did but with a friend and when i was down there my friend screamed so i came out of the bathroom right after a thud, but as i came out the little door (that had a hook to lock it) was locking. Then we ran like the wind upstairs. about 5 months later i had a slumber party and during the party me and the other girls heard loud thuds and a mans voice. Does this means my house is haunted and how do i tell them that we mean no harm to them and that they should not hurt us?
