Drink beer in German beer garden

My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Munich on our honeymoon 2 years ago. German beer gardens are awesome – there’s nothing quite like sitting around on an early summer afternoon, in the shade under beautiful trees, slowly (or not so slowly) getting blitzed on beer and stuffing your face with tasty soft pretzels. I hope I have the chance to return to Germany someday.

I want to experience it, does Drinking qualify?

I love the atmosphere of Beer Gardens here. Sometimes in the city you can walk up a path to a small wooded area and be transfixed into a new surreal place. You don’t even realize you are in the city.

People gather to have a beer after work, eat a pretzel, or share another quick dinner… it is such a great time! Each brewery has their own beer garden as well. Drink a maß (1 Litre of beer) or try a Radler (a beer mixed with a citrus soda like Sprite -these are better than they sound) – and no the beer is not really that warm.

It isn’t the warm beer in a stein bigger than me that I want to achieve this goal…I want to go to Germany at least once before I leave the Earth. It would be AWESOME!
