be a manga artist

Hello I want to publish my first manga. I’m 17 and I have been drawing for 13 years. I have 2 chapters completed so far and I’m working on the third one. My manga is called 3rd Law

My manga is basically placed in 2080 Tokyo and is about a boy named Etsuko Emi, whose body is horribly scarred. Because of this he wears awkward clothing and resembles the modern “hippy”. Etsuko is an all nature boy who despises technology; however, he finds love in a man whose body had been destroyed and replaced with a mechanical one; his face also bares a horrid scar from a horrid past. This man’s name is Shichirou Osuma, he loves technology and basically is his life. Shichirou is also the president of Japan’s leading company in advanced technology, TaroCorp. How ironic as it is, both these individuals find love in each other. An all nature boy who finds love in a man who is made up of 90% technology, and an all techno man who finds the same love in a boy who wants nothing more than to stop TaroCorp from “destroying” cities with its technology.

I really want to be a manga artist or at least work in the anime/manga industry. Currently 15 and have been drawing since I was about 4-5. Trying to improve my art and story making skills right now. Please leave feedback for my pic =D

I ain’t sure if I want to do this anymore… I still want to go to Japan and I still want to do art but I ain’t sure if manga is what I want to do.

I think I may continue drawing manga dn try to finish any manga books I have started writing over the summer and see if I want to continue doing this because at the moment I don’t think I do.

Four years ago I discovered manga, and instantly fell in love with it and started drawing. Even now it’s my dream to become a proper manga artist. And I know that the road is very long and harsh, and i fear that I lack determination, self-confidence and persistence to make it.. But I’ll continue trying to improve, both in art and storytelling.

I always liked comic books. When I was 9 I first read a manga. It’s a style of drawing I like a lot, and the stories are always nice. I would like to make a manga, because I have a lot to write about and drawing is something I do since I was 4. Maybe someone will smile while reading my manga, one day, and that’s something that would make me very happy.

I love manga & anime.I always wanna be a manga artist.My drawing’re not bad at all,but I dont know if this job could make enough money for a very well life.So I think I would just do this as a side job. =))

i remember when i was like 12 yrs. old i wanted to always draw anime, but i was never creative to make one. until one evening when i was with my twin sister and our older cousin and we played dress up. then we played around and i thought to myself…this would make a great comic, then i’ll say just that i created an extra little character that would go great with them…point is, is that ever since then ive always had a desire to become a manga artist and for people to read my manga. i really believe that i would make it far and people would appreciate my drawings and storyline. if given the time and opportunity to become one i hope that my life long dream can be fufilled. ^-
