Sofia Woke up the worst mood ever... going to try to AT LEAST neutralize it!
I’ve been filling out applications but not really putting my all into it.
I need to start putting my all into my applications and maybe someone will take a chance on me.
How I did it: I've been looking for a job for a LONG time (2 years), applying to every place I could find. I had told pretty much everyone I knew that I wanted a job but nobody knew of one.
Then I met a girl. She moved into our apartment building. We became friends and after 2 weeks of knowing her, she told me about a job opening that she knew of at her old job.
I applied and got offered the job at the end of my interview.
Lessons & tips: If you are really desperate for a job, my tips are to
1. apply to every place you can find, even if it's a job that you really don't want. You'll be able to add it to your resume, plus - having a paycheck isn't all that bad :)
2. tell everyone that you know that you're looking for a job. Ask them if they know any jobs available, if they can look around for you or if they know someone who might know of an opening.
Resources: Knowing my neighbour really helped.
She had worked at this company before, knew the recruiter and put in a good word for me.

I’ve been filling out applications to everywhere, and no one will take me because I’m inexperienced.
