How to do something incredibly stupid
It made me
lose a friend. 
"This is the most ridiculous thing one could hope to strive for."
How I did it: I said something I shouldn't have. It was taken wrongly out of context and the concequences were not ones that I'd've liked. I don't know why I said it, but it just came out.
I learnt to always think about things very thoroughly before I say/do them.
Lessons & tips: Think before you speak/do. It sounds cliche, but it's said for a reason.
Resources: A lack of common sense.
