I gave up on this goal for a while, because my shoulder was just in no shape to do anything, but my shoulder is a lot better now, so this goal is going back on the list!

How to do 50 pushups"Finished my 50.. now on to 100!"
How I did it: I've been following the program over at hundredpushups.com.. I just hit my goal of 50 consecutive pushups as part of the week 5, day 3 workout.. the whole workout came out to 201 pushups total! Lessons & tips: I've found that it helps me if I look forward toward the wall instead of looking down at the floor. It helps keep my back straighter. Resources: http://hundredpushups.com

How I did it: As usual, hundredpushups.com. It took me forever to get through week 3 without giving up, but now I'm pumped. I never though I'd be able to do this many, but it was easy with consistent work. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to this website and did their thing http://hundredpushups.com/At the end I was supposed to be able to do 100, but I only am able to do about 75. With more work I'll probably be able to achieve the 100 push up goal though. Read how I did it…

At this point in my (lack of) fitness I can’t even do one, and I’ve never been able to do them well. If someone were to say “Drop and give me 20!” I want to be able to easily.

I hurt my shoulder during aerials, so I haven’t been allowed to do push-ups for the last week-and-a-half. Well, to be honest, I was behind schedule on this goal anyway, but I’m definitely not going to make it in time. I am still working a lot on strength though, and hopefully my shoulder will recover soon!
Now I need to figure out a charity… I think I want one that encourages physical exercise! That seems appropriate.

Looks like a local charity is going to be getting $50… I have however made progress. I haven’t been very good about doing the program, but I’m up to 15 push-ups now, which is progress, albeit slower than I’d prefer.

50 by mid-July. that means no slacking, no inconsistency! I’m printing out the next few weeks and taking them with me on travel. Hell or high water I’m hitting it by my goal!

I want to be consistent—do my three days a week. Gains may be slow, but if I keep at it they will come.

Okay, so I did another 50 last night. If I can do it again at the end of the week, I’ll cross this off, though I may be starting to get sick.
In related news, week 4 is evil. I still can’t do day 1 properly. Grr…

I kind of let this lapse… but thanks to the recent cheers I am reminded of starting this up again-so today back to week 1 day 1 of 100 push-ups. This time I plan to stick with it! :-)

I’m up to 25 a day. However, I’ve realized that this is probably why my shoulders are always so sore. Not sure if it’s worth the pain, but I’ll keep it up for now.
