Actually do the run, if possible!

My friend and I were there for the Festival of San Fermin in 2006. It was a great time, but I really wish I would have run. Some tips:
—Avoid dead man’s bend (I don’t remember if that’s the exact name, but its something to that effect)
—Watch the run first to get the jitters out, scout out the course, and to see how doable it really is.
—Know where you’re going to exit the course.
—You can get the red-and-white garb the morning of in Pamplona if you’re really in a pinch, but do yourself a favor and buy it ahead of time.
I hope to go back one day to actually do the run. Good luck to all those who get the opportunity to do it, and don’t chicken out like we did!
