MY religion will be kinda based on the Earthseed novels (by Octavia E. Butler).... Have talked to many other people about this…. some receptive to the idea… some not so receptive…

I’m gonna rip off George Carlin and say that I’ll worship the sun because I can see it, and pray to Joe Pesci because he’s a guy that can get shit accomplished. Nobody fucks with Joe Pesci and walks away without a little Italian foot up their ass.

Name of my religion: Riches
Name/s of the riches religion’s god: God of Riches, Heavenly Father
Representation of my religion: jewelry [gold, silver, diamonds, etc.]
People In My Religion Is Called: Riches Kings/Queens
Beliefs: Basically Baptist beliefs , but rejects the trinity [god, jesus, and holy spirit is all one]. In my religion, god, jesus [son of god], and the holy spirit are three different forms, but can work as one. I believe in the literal Second Coming of Christ at which time God will sit in judgment and divide humanity between the saved and the lost and Christ will sit in judgment of the believers, rewarding them for things done while alive. Unlike Muslim women, Riches Queens show off their bodies, because beauty is god’s work. Like Muslims, A Riches Queen’s primary responsibility is usually interpreted as fulfilling her role as a wife and mother, whereas a Riches King’s role is to work and be able to financially support his wife and family. If a Riches Queen is single, she is able to take a Riches King’s role, by working, doing hard labor, etc. Riches Kings should always be in charge of their wives and families. i have many religions but just by the idea that they’re all made up follows the final conclusion that i am indeed an atheist

As of today, Islam is the only religion that give its followers an intellectually full-filled mind (and heart)! I am a muslim and If I was born as a Christian, either I would become atheist or muslim again.

Today’s most important challenge to believers is pure scientific explanations of life and the theory of evolution.

I’ve been practicing witchcraft (a.k.a magick) for about 10 years or so now. The problem is I don’t like following tradtional practices or religions. I understand how it works but I want something that is my own. My own symbolism and my own rituals and I’m not going to market it or teach other about it. My own magickal practices and magickal religion. I’m going to start with one god. Minus the dogmatic rules that the christian god has. And add rituals and possibly other gods. I may borrow symbols and such from other religions but I’m not that far yet. I just have a hard time deciding on names, symbols, etc. And defing what it is I’m going to create exactly. I have a pallett of ideas I learned from a whole crap load of traditions but it’s going to have my own spin on it. I tried something like this before that was less complex and it was successful but I need to make it even better.

It’s official. I am my own religion.
