I’ve come across quite a few artists that I’ve never heard of before. I was reading an old issue of SPIN magazine one day and wrote down the names of some artists mentioned in the magazine; Ryan Ross, Liam Finn, Peter Doherty, Panic! At The Disco, and Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin. I’ve so far only listened to a couple of songs from each artist. I think they are a great change to what I’ve been listening to… the same mixed CDs I made years and years ago! 13 months ago
i got bored, and I went to youtube and clicked on a random band which starts with a f! it was fall out boy.and since that, i just love them! after that, i downloaded their album, and i liked it, so i downloaded all of their albums.i did the same with la roux, the veronicas, system of a down, all time low and many many lots of singers/bands.^^ for one time, i was listening jus tto my chemical romance, and, no offence, i like that band, buuut…i had a need for new music.:D and it was worth doing, btw.(: i don’t lie. ;) 23 months ago
I have eclectic taste when it comes to music. All forms excite me and I often rotate them with the seasons, sometimes even the days. Some recent additions to my collection have been provided by friends and my kids:
*29 Mules – sort of blue grassy
*Hollywood Undead – rap/techno/something else (my son got me to listen to this)
*IONA – don’t know how to describe this but she has a beautiful voice and it is very relaxing.
I seem to always fall back on my classical collection, just seems to help on those dark days! 2 years ago
