Great news.

It came back on the market … I went to see it and made an offer and it’s been accepted!

hurrah – full steam ahead

I was going to see a place tomorrow that just seemed perfect. I just had a call to say that it had gone under offer this afternoon. I’m so dissapointed.

I have to keep telling myself that the right place will come along at the right time and be fatalist about the whole process.

I’ve been viewing flats in different areas. I’m narrowing down the field and definitely leaning towards Richmond/East Twickenham. Good places seem to be very scarce though – especially in my price bracket.

Four to view tomorrow morning – one I’m particularly excited about.

I’ve just had a mortgage approved in principle … so excited now :-)

Today I’ve been on the phone to an IFA to start the wheels in motion of a mortgage application.

I’ve also been in touch with Channel 4 to see if I can get Kirsty and Phil on the case to find me a property.

Finally with the job pretty much sorted … I can now hunt in earnest for my perfect flat. Well – my perfect flat within my budget in the area I want to live :-)

I’m refusing to spend what I consider a fortune on anything smaller the 50 Sq Metres.

My foot is firmly put down on this point.

It’s about time. I did buy a place years ago with someone else – but then rented for the last 7 years. It’s time to grow up and take the plunge. I’ve found the area where I want to live – just need to find somewhere that’s not a shoebox now.
