Most of the people I know here are either huge geeks (who talk all day about World of Warcraft and comic books) or “emo” kids that wouldn’t know good music until everyone else around them says it’s cool to like.
I’m a pretty intellectual guy, although I’m a huge Anthony Burgess fan so maybe I should follow him and say I’m an anti-intellectual, and I can’t seem to find anyone locally to talk to about things that I find interesting. I’ll probably be a writer and be a professor later in life… which will be fantastic because I’ll mingle with like minded people… but now I really like to keep to myself.
