eat at the french laundry

My boyfriend agreed to take me to French Laundry for my birthday (in november). I was a little worried, because everything I read made it sound extremely hard to get reservations. I called today at exactly 10am and after two tries was able to get through and get a reservation for two for dec. 18th (it’ll be a late birthday present).

So my cousins wedding has just been scheduled for April, so we have to postpone our California trip.

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to California in April to go eat burritos in San Francisco and drink wine in Napa. The French Laundry takes reservations two months in advance and since we’re shooting for going on a saturday, I actually have my calendar alarm set to remind me as soon as reservations open, so I can hopefully get us in.
