I’ve learned how to do this using the JavaScript RSS Box Viewer 1.0RC. Found via Shirley’s blog

It must be possible, because this is one of the things RSS was originally used for – including news streams onto a customisable “my news” type portal.
I want to be able to include blog and flickr streams onto a page, perhaps within a frame on that page, or perhaps in a wiki page.
