Learn a computer language

I am a student of class 8th. I have very interest in computers therefore i wanted to learn some languages in computers. I think this wonder full site can teach me how to learn computer language in easy ways and in very easy method.

i want to learn a computer language

I wrote my first program by following a tutorial . . .
it opens up a blank windows box . . .
it doesnt do anything besides that . . but its a start . .
what I like . . the finished code is compiled into an
executable file . . . so anyone can run it . . .
anyways . . thought I would post my progress . . .

It’s been a long time since I’ve been in this world of super-savvy Computer-persons. I still remember Q-Basic and html, but I would like to learn something that would help me actually program the games that I write. Something that could be used on a lot of computers.

I feel a little old, admitting that I need to do this. :P
