I’ve always had an inclination for the medical field. I used to be sooo sick as a child all the time that the list of random things wrong with me was usually longer than my chore list. I’ve been to zillions of doctors but the only one that was ever nice to me and made me feel comfortable beyond reason was a lady… I have no clue what her name was, but I knew she was a PA and I knew that I wanted to do that.
I’ve always had a bad stigma with nursing etc because my horrid mother was an LPN, but I’m finally reaching the point where I realize that doing things my mother has done wont make me her, but doing things I actually want to do WILL make me HAPPY!
The school I want to go to only accepts 25 applicants per class (ugh) so I have to beast through my first 2 years so that this goal can become reality!!!!!

I have come a long way in the medical field, and the next step is P.A. I have a long way to go.
I’m finishing my undergrad now and will be applying for programs over the summer and the fall.
So I’ve decided to go into Public Health. It’s an easier grad school to get into, and I can get into things such as The World Health Organization and fun stuff like that. I can make changes (or at least try to) to the entire system and not just be a rogue doctor who actually cares about people…
