i want to be a police officer

Yes! I sent my application package (Finally! after 1 month and a half of screwing around) 2months later I was getting ready for my first police interview. Didn’t go too well for a lot of reasons that are now clear to me. Well, 1 service down, 20 some to go ! If the provincial service found me attractive enough to call me in for an interview, perhaps the local ones will too. God only knows. God help me.

NOW I must put together a bunch of other application packages, but I got the hang of it now. My goal is to have 2-3 packages in the mail by next friday.

but 1st: get a friend to look over my revised presentation letter
2nd: buy a printer
3rd: buy a USB key
4th: gotta start working out like crazy soon to gain weight ASAP and look like an imposing dumb but strong cop;p
5th: give some serious thought into whether applying now or waiting until I get some university credits under my name.

Should be in the mail by THURSDAY BEFORE LUNCH

ENOUGH time to type up everything, get my sister to help me with spelling etc…

It’s been a month since I received my certificate of results for my successful completion of preliminary testing. Why haven’t I sent in my application package yet?!??

CPR course this coming week end; meaning I should be sending by mail all of my applications on monday the 6th.

Still need to:
CPR certificate
Get one more work related reference
Fill out the kazillion application sheets
Finish up and get my presentation letter corrected

Tomorow, need to at least:
-Work on presentation letter
-Call ppl from work for reference

Still much work to be done…

being a police officer is my dream job also…im at currently taking criminal justice classes and i love it, i belive that helping people is what im here for and fulfillment and many of lifes lessions i think are in a police career! it one of my number one goals i cant imagine doing anything else.

And have wanted to for a long time.

But I don’t know, I’m not great on commitment, is it really what I want? I’d love to be a dog handler, because I have an affinity with dogs.

I received a fine for shoplifting a couple of years back though. A one off stupid thing, and I’m worried it’ll stop me getting in.

Only for 2 years, but I learnt so much about life, low-lifes and what society thinks it needs.

This is my dream job.. I just can’t seem to get into it fast enough! I am currently taking classes for a degree in criminal justice, which is the first step I guess. I just can’t wait to at least be training in an acadamey.. Oh well, I’m sure time will fly by fast enough.
