credit card balance 4 months ago

My balance isn’t too high, but I know that the longer I wait the worse it is – so I want to get it done this year. I have expenses that have to come first, but it’s on my list.

I am so excited and proud of myself ~ I knew I could do it! It feels so good to be debt-free! Although my balance was not extremely high, I always felt like it was such a waste of money in a way ~ to buy something one month and pay for it later after it had been used. This money will be put to good use somewhere else now that I don’t have to worry about my credit card anymore…

Firstly i’ll stop spending money and try earning it…I will get a statemant tommorrow from HSBC, To find out how much i owe. I think i have around £700 pounds to pay back because the money i was going to use to pay off my holiday to Pisa was stolen in the burglary in May ‘07. But I will have to check anyway.

Definetly Liberating!!!! 2 years ago

I was paying for stuff I didn’t even remember buying.
It was all a blur. I would bring it down and it would rack back up just by all the traveling I did last year. And did things I could have done without. It’s definetly liberating. I feel like I can breathe better now.

first statement of the year 2 years ago

I paid off £170 yesterday. I’ve got around £400 to go now. I would guess that 90% of what’s on there is my flight to America (I’m going to Orlando in May). I really want this all paid off before I go, so I’ve taken all the extra hours I can get at work. It will mean a few months of cutting back, but it will be worth it.
