I don't know what I'm doing, but I am going for it. The best way to learn is to just do it. 23 months ago

I have this huge backyard filled with all types of sunlight. I live in the Northwest in a huge Agriculture rich state. I feel I can do this. I just need to let go of a few things before I can begin. I do not have a clue on how to garden, other than what I read…no real experience.

I’m keeping this at the forefront of my goals even though I can’t have a garden here, because I want to keep reading about gardening, buy a book on heirloom gardening, maybe subscribe to a magazine. Maybe I should subscribe to magazines about all my goals (well, the ones that have magazines associated with them)

i got The Edible Heirloom Garden from the library yesterday, and so far I’ve learned about saving seeds, how to keep things from cross pollinating, etc.

I want to get some of the heirloom hollyhocks from Tasha Tudor’s garden.

I can’t do this right now, since I don’t have a yard or patio, so in the meantime I’ve reserved a book from the library and have ordered an heirloom seeds catalog.
