Fell asleep towards the end – but this had nothing to do with the film – just exhaustion.

Saw this film on the weekend. Was pretty exciting throughout, but the end was a bit of a dud.
I used to watch a lot of movies and no TV at all. I used to read so much more. Now there are so many good TV shows, I feel bad about it; I’m spending so much time watching series. It’s like an addiction: I want to go back to movies and I can’t find the willpower or the time. There are some shows that aren’t even that great and I’m still hooked.
There’s a part of me that thinks it’s worth it, but there’s another (and perhaps she’s a snob) that wants to set that aside and find a balance: “watch more films”, she says.
Watching more movies and films is a great experience so long as you have someone to watch them with, in my opinion. When I started dating my current husband over four years ago, he introduced me into a world of movies that I had never known before. The quality of movies can range from really bad to really great. Some of the great ones can be extremely entertaining, inspiring, motivating, thought-provoking, and so on. I love watching an entertaining movie. It’s a great mini-vacation from reality.
I was sick this past weekend. Yuck! But I watched 3 movies and a disk from Arrested Development. It was nice to watch without guilt.
i want to watch 1000 films in the next four years which shouln’t be too hard i already watch some ill just add in another movie trio night with my friends (as long as jade doesnt insist on seeing almost famous AGAIN!!!!!!!!lol)(:
Chris Campbell is getting things done.
I think that it’s safe to cross this one off the list. I’m not sure how many films the average person sees, but I’m guessing that I’m above average. I watch about 3 or 4 DVDs a week and a film in a theatre about every week or two. Just off the top of my head that would translate into something like 15 films a month, which would be something like 180 films a year. Film festival attendance and short films push that up, so I’ve got to be around 200 a year or so not counting things that I’ve rewatched. What can I say, I love watching films.
this week i saw, ong bak, oldboy, mulholland drive, rain man and auto focus. i’m going to mark this as “done” because i’ve definitely seen alot of films in the last month and i intend to keep seeing 1-3 movies a week.
2001: A Space Odyssey, Mean Girls, Bottle Rocket, From Dusk til Dawn, Clerks, the Pianist and 1984 (the one made in 1984, not the older one). I think I’ll be able to check this off pretty soon.
