get a harry potter tattoo

Harry Potter has been a HUGE part of my life! So, to me, it only makes sense to do this. I’ve been considering a tattoo for a very long time. I first thought the Dark Mark… then, I thought a snitch…. but, I don’t know. I want something to remind me how far this book has taken me in my life. It is the reason I was to be a novelist and the reason I even care about reading. Harry Potter has been my life preserver for about 7 years, now. I owe this book everything.

Completely worth doing. I love my Deathly Hallows tattoo. It is perfect!

Harry Potter has been a part of my life since I was seven and it always will be. I want to have it in my skin beause it means a lot to me and, hell, it will look cool too.
I’m considering a dark mark, or would that be corny… ?
Or maybe the Hogwarts Crest… or just the words “Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus” so that way it will be a Harry Potter tattoo but not blatantly.

Since the Deathly Hallows came out, I knew that I wanted to get it tattooed on my body. I had always wanted a Harry Potter themed tattoo, but I wanted to wait until the end of the series to figure out what I specifically wanted. Almost a year later, and I got it. It’s a copy of the chapter art from page 405 of the America version of the book, on my left foot.

My mom said i could get a tattoo, only it has to mean something to me. now, what’s better than having something that’s been in my life since elementary school? It might seem a little silly, but Harry Potter has been a part of my life for a really long time and i think it taught me to have really good morals and i love how the whole theme of the stories are love conquers all. it’s really amazing and i can’t wait to get a tattoo. i was thinking of something along the lines of the symbol of the tale of the three brothers in harry potter and the deathly hallows
i think it symbolizes that this is the end of the books and the end of the legacy that is harry potter. it’s also about how you get things in life by using them for good and not bad, basically karma. i absolutely love the idea of getting something so permanent and so reflective of my life!

This is one of those things that I can easily do this summer. I even have a friend who will get one w/ me. However, I want to be a bit wise about this and I’m waiting it out for who knows how long. The problem is that I have rather a lot of ideas. I mean, hp is just so inspirational and all. ^^ Lol.. I just need to get a grasp on some other things in my life before this. But yeah, hp tats are awesome.

I have a tattoo of the best Golden Snitch I have ever seen on a tat. I am apprehensive about posting it though b/c it was drawn out just for me and I really do not want anybody to “steal” my prized art work. I think I’ll post one that doesn’t show all the details clearly. (sorry, I’m VERY protective of it)
I also have a tribal Phoenix on my right shoulder, but I think I am going to get it covered with an actual Fawkes. The next big project is going to be Harry flying up my back to catch the Snitch!

OMFG, it totally worth doing it, I am totally in love with my new(and first) tattoo. people may think I’m crazzy ‘cause it’s Harry Potter, but frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.
