The less is more. I feel myself really abused with all these definitions and non-sense-meanings.

How to learn to speak toki pona"It was difficult to learn because of its unique grammar and the similarities and ambiguities of its words, but now I'm very glad that I learned it."
How I did it: I used the lessons of jan Pije, and after I used his lessons, I was quite confused with Toki Pona and its grammar, to be honest. I had a lot of questions as I'm sure anybody else who learned it did at first. But after reading in it and experimenting with it some, the pieces of its grammar that were missing to me all came together. I would have been able to learn it more quickly, but I learned most of it during the last few weeks of school, so I had a lot of other things to be doing at the same time. But I highly recommend learning this language to anyone else with just a little bit of time and patience, because it's much more useful than one would think it would be. Lessons & tips: Just be patient and pace yourself well. If you rush through it too much, no matter how skilled you are at learning languages, your knowledge of Toki Pona will most likely be murky and confused at first. I recommend reading Toki Pona texts after you've learned all of the words to learn the grammar (but be careful who you're reading it from, I've seen things written by beginners that didn't make any sense.) I looked at Esperanto and Ido (which is a modified Esperanto resembling Italian or Spanish) but then got intrigued by Toki Pona, which as it was devised more recently has a more modern mindset, and goes back to first principles instead of using existing European languages. Also the whole positive attitude behind it appeals to me.
the book to be released. Shouldn’t be too long and I have plenty of things to do in the meantime. http://www.tokipona.org/book.html
