How I did it: I had purple hair for a year about 2 years ago, and I had missed it ever since.
I used the "Splat" brand hair color. I bought it at Rite Aid, used the bleach that was included, applied the purple, let it sit for an hour, and voila! Purplefied.
Splat isn't tested on animals, which is a must for me. Manic Panic and Special Effects don't animal test either, and they make lots of delicious hair colors too, including several different purples. Read how I did it… 14 months ago
