I’d always miss a few A’s by a-bit. My parents are the type to be lecturing you when you haven’t made straight A’s – so I reckon it’s best to set this as one of my goals.

How I did it: All of the classes I was taking were in English lit or Creative Writing, which amounted up to a max of maybe 1000 pages of reading a week. While I was interested in the material, the reading was intense.I always had one of my books with me so that I could read if I wasn't doing anything else, and if it was hard to understand I read synopses of the material before I read it - this made it a faster and easier read.I kept up with all of the … Read how I did it…
Michael has to revise some goals
How I did it: I think the key for me was "learning how I learn" which took years after college, even. I did fine in getting my bachelors and admittedly some topics were quite hard. A lot of what hurt me then was not realizing that I learn by seeing the big picture first and relating the details to it as I go.I also tend to learn in a non-linear fashion. I can't read books front to back. I have to jump around as my brain drives me to learn w… Read how I did it…
How I did it: The first time I ever got straight A'sIt was 5th term in college too.I am quite happy because I took Organic Chemistry and Physics that term. (I've heard that combo is a death sentence.) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I did everything I could to listen in class and participate. That was the hard part because I'm a very reserved person, and I don't like to speak a lot. But I made myself raise my hand more. And before tests, I studied as much as I could without stressing myself out and then I'd write out what I'd memorized. Well my mom would kinda make me, but it worked so that's good. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I studied, stayed focused, and did all my work. It was actually surprisingly easy. Just learn your material and succeed. In the end it was all worth it. It was like Christmas morning. You feel self-powered. Read how I did it…

My dad told me that if I got straight As this 2009-2010 school year, he would send me to Italy.

My boyfriend told me last night that if I get straight A’s for this fall and the next spring semester, he will take me on an ALL EXPENSE PAID CRUISE!!! Oh man!! Wow. I really gotta work on this one. Besides the fact that straight A’s for two semesters will raise my GPA significantly (I went over my transcript last night and it has steadily, since I have been in college, declining… made me feel awful) but it will also make me feel so good and now on top of it, it will get me a cruise!!!
I came so close this quarter A, A, A, A, B+ If I had just gotten one more question right on the final, I could have had straight A’s instead I ended up with an 89.6 in the class overall. The final was really tough and I thought I did worse than I did; I think I would feel better if I had! To be that close. Oh well I will try fall quarter.

This will have to begin in the end of August, seeing as how I didn’t complete this last semester. I actually got a D in a class and am retaking it this semester.
Well.. I made high honor roll.. 3.79 cumulative for my Jr year.
I got a mistake B my 3rd term, but last term: I pulled a 4.0. the first in a long (very long) time. It was harder than hell.. but i managed.. however, I havent put this goal as “done”, because I still have senior year, and college.. so i guess this is a lifelong goal. Besides, a 4.0 one term means nothing. If I can pull all 4.0’s next year i might begin to be satisfied<3 Good luck to everyone who is pursuing such a awesome goal!!
I am going to do this next year! 2nd year of university will be the first time i get straight a’s. i know i can do this. I just have to STOP procrastinating and START working hard!

I used to get straight A’s but i started slipping :(
I want to show my parents my report card and make them smile
Got my first one this semester. Ended up with a 3.7 gpa for the semester and a 3.844 gpa cumulative. A 3.85 is summa cum laude so it’s still very possible and 3.5 is magna cum laude and a 3.0 is cum laude. I’m not upset though. In this semester I had to call off my wedding, went to Vegas for 5 days and my grandfather passed away. It was my hardest semester for my personal life so I can’t be down about getting a B. No more though! lol.
Right now, I’m almost there. I’m getting an 87 in science, which I know I can bring up. :) I didn’t even realize I was doing so well until I checked my grades!
It feels so good.
